Have you grabbed the growing bundle of these yet?? Somehow I am actually ahead of schedule so might just be able to fit in a sneaky surprise set (#didsomeonesayrhyming 😉)

The next set is scheduled to go in this Friday and then the price will go up so I would recommend grabbing it before that happens!!

Oh, but they are learning so much!!

Just because you can’t see them doing the exact thing you thought they’d do with the activity doesn’t mean they’re not getting a LOT out of it!! Just the simple fact that they are actually there and interacting with the concept is huge because they may not have had an interest in if it was set up a different way…. The girls may not have touched these letters if I just had them on the table, the water was what drew them in. Then came conversation about the letters they were cleaning, which ones they were drying, saying the names of the animals they found!

Then it was my job to converse with them during their play to get the ‘learning’ out… “what sound does frog start with? Have you washed that letter already? I wonder if you have all the letters to make the frog’s name? Which ones would you need“
Then just as importantly, knowing when to let them go back to playing!

Is this something you’ve said before or had said to you? I’d love to hear how you feel about it!

Make your own sensory numbers (or letters) with just a hot glue gun!!

The hot glue is perfect as it adds a raised line that can be felt as the child traces AND it’s clear enough to still see the arrowed lines underneath!!

These activities are just the start of what you can do with these letters and numbers.. the possibilities are endless!!

You all loved the beginning sounds ones so much I just had to make a CVC version AND then promise to make 3 more and put them in a growing bundle 😲

If you’ve never done a growing bundle before they’re pretty awesome because you’re pretty much pre-ordering the future sets at a super discount and then when I release them you get to just download them.. for free!! Crazy right!!

Or you can just grab the ones you want individually.. whatever works!!!

These have been a HIT with Everly and I’ve loved hearing her decide the words to work it out!!
