Description
A hands-on way to explore missing addends to 20! Six different themed sets where students add more to make the number by drawing, using playdough or loose parts.
These have been developed by a Prep teacher with the classroom in mind! Print the mats and number sets then place out only your focus. Adding to 10, adding to 20, bridging 10… you choose!
Included in this download:
- 6 different themed sets of mats (each set has picture representations of 1-19)
- number cards (for totals) 2-20

Students can draw, use playdough or loose parts to add more to get to the total. I have included a list of suggested loose parts for each set.
Pair with whiteboards or other writing boards if students are up to writing the sum after
