Slime (maker beware) this stuff can get EVERYWHERE! I do love to buy the kits for this, but if I’m making it at home there’s two I love to give a go and that’s normal slime and fluffy slime. Before we dive in how to make slime, I want to add that adults MUST touch the chemicals in this recipe. Not the kids (they can help at other stages, but you need to do the chemicals!)
You’ll need:
- 2/3 cup Elmer’s White Glue
- ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
- ¼ cup Water
- 5 tablespoons Contact Lens Solution (must have boric acid and sodium borate in ingredients)
- 3-4 drops Colouring
- 2-3 cups Shaving Cream (if you want fluffy slime, if not, no need!)
Add your glue, baking soda and water to a bowl and mix. If you’re making fluffy slime, add that in next and mix.
Add in the colouring so it looks like the colour you want!
**ADULTS ONLY!** Add in the contact solution, slowly! Add in the first tablespoon and then knead, and add in the rest. It will be sticky (which is normal!) as you’re kneading til it hits the sweet spot.
If it’s a little too sticky still add some baby lotion to your hands and problem solved.
