Playdough is a must in any classroom or home! But this recipe is a favourite because you can add all the ingredients in and mix and ta-da PLAYDOUGH! No cooking required. Although I will note, the cooked playdough does last a little longer and feels a whole lot nicer (but that’s just my preference!) Ready? This is how to make playdough, the no-cooking version!
You’ll Need:
- 2 cups of plain flour
- 2 tablespoon of veggie oil
- ½ cup salt
- 2 tablespoons cream of tartar (this can be left out if needed!)
- 1 – 1.5 cups boiling water (add in SLOWLY!)
- Colouring
Add in the flour, salt, cream of tartar and oil to a bowl. Combine it well.
Add the colouring and boiling water. Slowly add the water to the bowl, mixing as you go (don’t add too much water!)
Sprinkle a little flour on the table, and then knead that baby!
And you’ve just made playdough in less than five minutes!
