It happens often, there are scraps left over and rather then throwing them away, you can use them for a little fine motor fun in your home or classroom!!
Fine motor fun and a great way to use up your paper scraps!!
These little hole punches from Officeworks are perfect for little hands! And can really assist in building their fine motor muscle strength, which we know assists with writing.
Are some kids powering through? Make it harder for them by adding more strips of paper to the pile for them to hole punch, and then get them to rub the confetti between their fingers to separate all the stuck pieces.
Feeling game? Take the bottoms off the hole punches so the confetti (hopefully) goes into the bowl!!
This can also be done with leaves for gorgeous nature confetti!
Don’t forget to save what they make and pop it on the art trolley for an activity later 💜
