We all love some fine motor fun in our house (or even in the classroom). With this simple set up with a range of different resources that can be used, you’ll have the kids entertained for hours! And the best part is after all the fine motor fun, the acrylic boards just wipe clean!
First things first, grab yourself a set of the acrylic pre-writers tracing boards (set of six) and then add some of the following resources (to give you some inspiration):
- Dot markers
- Loose parts (like stones, blocks, buttons, rainbow eggs, shells, etc)
- Chalk markers
- Playdough
- Kinetic sand or sand
- Leaves, sticks or flowers
- Mini cars/dinosaurs/bears
And honestly, the list can go on! There’s no limit to what you can add for this fine motor fun activity!
Once you have it set up, you could sit with your kids to begin with (depending on their age) and model the aim of the resources, or wait and see what they do!
The idea behind these are that they will assist your little one to form letters once they begin to write. The pre-writing tracing boards are developed as an amazing building block for your kids development!
Now, let’s have some fine motor fun and let me know in the comments what you would add!
