Fine motor activities are essential for your classroom, as they are the foundations for writing. But you aren’t sure where to start with the set up of the activities! Then look no further, because my fine motor activities kits are perfect to get you started!
Have you got the Fine Motor Activities Kits? Then you will have the Tricky Tongs card, so read on and see how I set it up (or watch the reel here)!
- Cork Heat Pads are from @ikea_australia and come in a pack of 3 (@kmartaus sell square ones)
- Golf tees I ordered from @ebayau but only because I wanted pretty colours 😂 Use a hammer to get them into the cork.. if they’re being difficult you could use 2 cork pads together or a bit of glue
- Add the tool that your kids will use – these might be tweezers, tongs or even spoons for them to use to pick up marbles or pom poms. Be sure to keep in mind the child’s skill set!
Can’t get cork pads?? Try honeycomb cardboard packaging (the stuff that comes in the ikea flat packs) or pool noodles!! Perfect excuse for a trip to IKEA if you ask me!
Have you tried Tricky Tongs before? Why not give it a go this week!
